Five Core Virutes 五種核心品格
At Nanya Elementary, we teach kids five important things: working together, being responsible, being honest, being polite, and caring for parents. We want our students to be good people and do well in school and life.
在湳雅國小，我們教孩子五件重要的事：合作、負責、誠實、禮貌以及孝順。我們希望我們的學生成為好人，並在學校和生活中都表現得很好。
Working Together 合作
I like to work with other kids and be a good team member.
When we talk in a group, I listen to what others say even if it's different from my ideas.
I take part and help with our class work.
Being Responsible 負責
I give my homework to the teacher on time.
I do what my parents and teachers ask me to do carefully.
I keep working on things until they are finished and do my best in my work.
Being Honest 誠實
I don't lie and bravely admit it when I make a mistake.
If I find something that isn’t mine, I give it to a teacher or the police.
If I need to borrow something, I ask the person if it's okay first.
Being Polite 禮貌
I speak softly and not too loudly.
I respect my teachers and say hello first.
I often say "please," "thank you," and "sorry."
Caring for Parents 孝順
I help my parents with work at home.
I always care for my parents' health.
I am careful with my words and actions so my parents don't worry.
